摘要
The control of groundwater intrusion has been the primary cause of deterioration of underground structures for many years. The presence of water has caused numerous problems to the operators of facilities, by causing the premature failure of electrical, mechanical, and structural systems. Over the last ten years the use of chemical and particle grouts has become one of the most effective methods for controlling the inflow of water into tunnels and other underground structures. The selection of the grout for the site-specific problems/conditions has always been a difficult task. Each application requires the selection of the proper grout for the effective sealing of leaks. The discussion herein, will address current procedures for identification, documentation and recommendations for the control of groundwater infiltration. In addition selected case history will be discussed.
