摘要
In this study was reported the synthesis of Fe3O4@ZnO core-shell nanocomposite using a chemical precipitation method. The nanocomposite was characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The photocatalytic activity of the prepared Fe3O4@ZnO core-shell nanocomposites has been investigated to degrade Bisacodyl drug under UV light irradiation in aqueous solutions with different pH values, initial concentration of Bisacodyl drug, and amounts of the photocatalyst. The effect of dissolved oxygen and stirring the solution on the degradation efficiency of the Bisacodyl drug were also investigated. The results showed the nanocomposite in photocatalytic degradation of Bisacodyl has effective efficiency in optimal parameters, i.e., Bisacodyl concentration of 20 mg/L, amount of photocatalyst 0.1 g, the pH of solution 7, and stirring speed 750 rpm in air atmosphere. Photodegradation of the drug follows the first-order kinetic model.
