摘要
A neural signal electronics bridge integrated circuit(IC) with adjustable gain for biomedical applications has been designed and realized in CSMC's 0.5 mu m CMOS technology. A recording circuit with adjustable gain, a buffer stage, and a stimulating circuit constitute the neural signal electronics bridge circuit. The neural signal electronics bridge IC occupies a die area of 0.85mm x 0.8mm. The circuit can operate under double power supply +/- 2.5V with a power consumption of 2.5mW. The simulation results show that the gain can be variable from 40dB to 100dB, the 3dB bandwidth is 54 kHz, and the output resistance is as low as 6.8 Omega, equivalent input noise is 32.3 nV/sqrt(Hz) from 100Hz to10 KHz(1).
