摘要
A multi-function serial data sampling system based on 16-bit microcontroller 80C196KC is designed for portable multi-parameter monitors.. Through serial port communication the sampling system can exchange data with personal computers, i.e. send sampled data to the computer and receive command from the computer.. The configuration of the system can be setup on the computer. The sampled data may he displayed on time and can also be saved in the computer for further application Multi-channel of analog signals are sampled by 80C196KCs embedded 10-bit A/D converter. The system can also record digital pulse rate through 80C196KCs Extint interrupt function. Using 80C196KC's embedded hardware devices, high-speed calculations and fast input/output (I/O) operations, the system can carry out multi-function easily according to user's requirements such as sampling, input/output, communications, calculations and so on. Since it is programmable and can be controlled by computer, the system is of high performance and intelligent Experiments show that the design is practicable. Taking full advantage of 80C196KC, the system has the property of low consumption and low cost, which is especially suitable for computer based portable multi-parameter monitors. An example of the successful application in the design of a HPC based vital signs portable monitor is presented in the paper.
