INVESTMENT IN EDUCATION AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ANALYSIS MODELS

The importance of the human capital use aggregated at national level to characterize development level of a country or to explain its economic growth, as: I. that a harmonization of demographic trends and social and economic one is an ongoing concern in formulating the development strategies of a country, resulted in a number of economists to also include into the models of developed economic growth the specific contribution of human capital, so considering that the investment in this kind of capital can significantly boost economic activity. Based on these con-differences are presented in this paper, the most popular analysis models of investment in human capital, and a comparison was made of them, stressing the common aspects and specific to each model and also their limitations.
