Growing Interest in Theory and Simulations

Stefan Spiegel, Editor, thanks the readers of the Macromolecular Theory and Simulations for showing interest in theory and simulations. Macromolecular Theory and Simulations will continue also in 2010 to publish carefully selected articles that present the newest results in all research areas dedicated to the theory and simulation of polymers and polymeric materials. 2009 was a good year not only for Macromolecular Theory and Simulations but also for the other members of the Macromolecular Journals family. Macromolecular Rapid Communications celebrated in 2009 the publication of its 30th volume. Macromolecular Chemistry & Physics with a further increased Impact Factor of 2.202 has reaffirmed its well established position and has entered again the top-10 of journals publishing original research in general polymer science. Macromolecular Materials & Engineering in its 10th year of publication enjoyed a significant increase of the ISI Impact Factor by 41% to a new value of now 1.925.
