摘要
The rapid population growth and urbanisation trends experienced in developing countries, particularly after the second half of the twentieth century, have contributed to an increase in housing demands. Adequate quantities of serviced land could not be provided to meet this increase in demand, partly because of inefficiencies in the formal land market. The applicability of land acquisition methods is one of the key factors in the effective operation of the legal land market. This article aims to analyse the applicability of such methods in providing serviced urban land in the case of Turkey.
