摘要
Analysis of sentences can be divided into two main parts, syntactic analysis and semantic analysis. Semantic analysis is an important problem in natural language understanding. The result of semantic analysis is the representation of meanings or actions in response to meanings. This paper describes a method for semantic analysis of Thai sentences with serial verbs. We are creating a new lexicon with semantic features designed to support semantic analysis. The focus of this research is on understanding sentences with serial verbs and finding some meaning representation of those sentences. Analysis of the ORCHID corpus, a corpus of academic literature in Thai, is the basis of much of our work on semantics.
