Dynamic Web service composition through symbolic agent negotiation

摘要
This paper presents a methodology for agent-based automated Web service composition. Given that Web services are described with declarative specifications like DAML-S, we apply symbolic reasoning methods for composing new services automatically. Although several articles have proposed automated Web service composition from DAML-S descriptions of services, they all assume existence of a central service description directory. We challenge these methods by proposing that while applying symbolic agent negotiation dynamic Web service discovery and composition can be performed without any central directory at all.
