摘要
The article explores the question of how labour law provisions are enforced in Germany. First, the central role of the labour courts is examined. In doing so, it not only looks at the constitutional foundations, but also at the special features of proceedings before the labour courts. Then the role of works councils in enforcing labour law is highlighted. The role of trade unions is also examined in more detail, showing in particular that some would like to see their importance in this area strengthened. Finally, the role of public authorities is examined.
