摘要
This paper describes an ongoing effort on utilizing agent oriented modelling technique in the modelling and optimisation of supply chain for the Traditional Chinese Medicine (\TCM) industry. The paper first analyses the specific nature of TCM supply chain and based on which configures a number of agents that cooperate with each other to provide supports to the TCM supply chain decision makers to improve performance. Some scenarios are considered such as demand pattern and market changes which are supported by the agents in the prototype system under development. Some implementation issues are also discussed.
