摘要
In academic library, determinants of website efficiency is something related to the efficiency of web podium, online service and the steadiness of availability of web pages to Universities and the community. It contributed to the facts that there are few elements need to be looked upon in delivering the website content towards the library users, regardless of their status. The aims of the study is to present and determine an empirical analysis of website efficiency and user satisfaction in academic Library. However, referring to the case study of Curtin University Sarawak, the mechanism of measuring the efficiency of the library website was too general and yet to be formed to focus on the elements need to be looked at, to determine the value of the website, and this is one way to do it. A survey was then conducted with the distribution of questionnaire targeting ten percent from the total population of Curtin University Sarawak. The choice of research subject was based on the Curtin community, and the participants consist of the three hundred respondents, derived from students, lecturers and also involved professional staff. The results was gathered from the survey and exposed into further analysis throughout the dissertation. Through user satisfaction it is definitely to link and evaluate the website efficiency for the case study of Curtin Sarawak Library by determination which also to ensure either the library website should maintained as it is, or should be improve at any areas suggested.
