摘要
The present study has the objective of describing from a qualitative perspective, the current situation in the knowledge management of the agricultural family business belonging to the state of Sinaloa. Knowledge management is analyzed through the application of a measurement instrument made up of 39 items, obtained from an investigation with the title of " influence of quality management on the results of innovation through knowledge management. A case study" published in the magazine Innovar by Dr. Mariano Garcia. The questionnaire is made up of four of the dimensions in knowledge management: creation, storage, transfer and, application and use of knowledge. Used to answer the following research questions: How is the current state of knowledge management in the family farming business? What are the knowledge management practices that the family farming business carries out? And what are the practices that represent an area of opportunity to be strengthened? In order to identify opportunities for improvement that allow the development of new skills and competencies to be promoted. The knowledge that an organization possesses can become a source of sustainable competitive advantage by deploying an effective knowledge management strategy, which allows for the creation of innovative actions to generate products, services, processes and management systems that optimize the resources and capabilities of the company. The importance of studying the knowledge management of the family farming business is due to the fact that this type of companies requires more research because they have a short life time and require solutions to be able to remain in the market. It is of great relevance since they are great generators of economic income in the country. The results obtained through the instrument show an average level of knowledge management practices with a score of 112 compared to 195 total points, yielding a percentage of 57%. The dimension that interferes for the organization's knowledge to flow correctly was identified, as it lacks the necessary practices for the cycle to be adequately accomplished, this is the transfer of knowledge.
