摘要
Nonstoichiometry of Ce0.8Gd0.2O1.9-x was gravimetrically measured at temperatures of 700-1000 degrees C and oxygen partial pressures between 10(-24) and 1 atm. For x less than or equal to 0.04,Ce0.8Gd0.201.9-x is described well to be a random solid solution, in which oxygen vacancies exist in the form of Vo(..) and their concentration is related to Po-2 by the law of mass action. Delta (H) over bar o and Delta (S) over bar o were calculated acid their dependence on x was discussed.
