摘要
This article is based on an empirical study of 690 Indian women construction workers and examines their levels of social awareness. Those in the age bracket 22-33 years and with fewer years of stay in the city were more aware than others. Women construction workers need to be further empowered, to enable them to be better integrated into the developmental process.
