Endoscopic plastic surgery

The technological advances of endoscopy have benefited many surgical specialties. Endoscopy is particularly suited for cosmetic and reconstructive procedures because of its emphasis on aesthetics. This article describes three plastic surgery procedures in which endoscopic techniques have been applied: the brow lift, transaxillary breast augmentation, and abdominoplasty. Endoscopic techniques are compared to more traditional techniques, which they may replace.
