This is the last in a series of three articles(3,4) exploring technical factors in the convergence of communications, computing and entertainment. The articles have looked forwards, backwards, sideways and around to discuss the potential cultural and organisational consequences for the future of telephony. This article focuses on the important, potentially controversial and intangible aspects in the preconceptions and mental attitudes of engineers, executives, competitors and customers.
