摘要
We perform an observational test on the predicted dependence of VIR. cycle times of Be stars on metallicity. Our observed Ha line profiles variations of Be stars in the metal-deficient environment of the SMC and the comparison to their galactic counterparts indicate that V/R cycle times are not dependent on metallicity.
