Model Study of English Listening and Speaking Mobile Learning Based on Podcasting

The training of English listening and speaking has been the importance and difficulty of the College English teaching. With the development of new media technology and the popularity of the new information dissemination and hand-held mobile devices, it is considered by experts and scholars that the combination mobile learning and language teaching is the most potential in development. Therefore, in this paper, on the basis of mobile learning concept, model study of English listening and speaking mobile learning based on Podcasting has been carried out. First of all, in this paper, Podcasting and its effect of foreign languages mobile learning has been briefly introduced. Then, in the application of practical teaching, 3 common mobile learning modes have been summarized; they are 3A autonomous learning mode, 3C collaborative learning mode and Mobile curriculum mode. And the 3 modes have been systematically studied, the result of the study shows that the English listening and speaking mobile learning mode based on Podcasting could create better digital learning space and context, in the meantime, it could stimulate students' interest in learning, expand classroom capacity, promote autonomous learning, improve self-confidence and cultivate the ability of creation and application of the learners.
