摘要
This paper presents a method for studying the stability of slopes by three-dimensional limit equilibrium theory. Experience shows that the relatively reliable assessment of the slope stability should be established on the 3D analysis. The analysis method in this paper is characterized by the following. Mechanical assumptions have reflected the major features of slopes and at the same time simplified the mathematical expression. The method for searching is presented which considers a number of types of surface shape, and enables the analyser to easily determine the possible sliding surfaces by his experience. The calculation can be performed in a number of directions possible from an engineering viewpoint by coordinate transformation and interpolation. Seepage, earthquake forces and other factors are reflected. An example is given to show the application of SSA-3D, the 3D slope stability analysis program based on the present method in studying the stability of a slope on the bank. of a reservoir.
