摘要
Jet cutting is accompanied by heat generation. The temperature in the formation zone is an important safety indicator when using jet technologies for processing combustible and explosive materials. Experimental studies of the temperature characteristics of the hydro-cutting process were carried out on samples of Plexiglas, titanium alloy and marble. The measurements were performed using an infrared thermal imager and the method of "running" thermocouple. The temperature characteristics in the formation zone do not exceed 70 degrees C, which makes it possible to use jet cutting in processing of any material. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
