摘要
Increment of load normally happens in an urban area because of increment the number of population and new development occurs. certain load new connection of new substation and the other might need support from Distribution Generation (DG). Adding a DG in a system should reduce the burden and the possibility of a violation might occur on the network. However, the good management of the DG in terms of the location to be located, and the size help the network to be operated at optimum condition. ACO and WOA algorithms are used to find an optimal position, and size of the DG. Newton Raphson methods are applied to the case study network for analysis of voltage profile. IEEE 33 bus system selected as a case study network. Both algorithms give significant results and improvement of the voltage profile of the network seen.
