摘要
The landing gear whilst supporting the weight of the craft provides directional control on the ground. During landing, the gear assembly is subjected to low frequency vibrations due to impulse from ground. In the modal analysis, the dynamics of structures is investigated in order to identify its dynamic properties particularly natural frequency and mode shapes of the geometry. As this frequency of induced vibration approaches the resonant frequency, the amplitude of the induced vibration increases asymptotically to infinity thus the components are designed to have a frequency far from frequency of resonance. The gear assembly is designed in CREO3.0 and modal analysis is carried out to find the natural frequency under no load and pre-stressed condition for Ti-6Al-4V to study response for four different modes using ANSYS 2019.
