摘要
This paper describes an application of the boundary element method to analysis of magnetostatic fields in materials, whose permeability depends nonlinearly from spatial co-ordinates. The main difficulty in such analysis is caused by the fact that for partial differential equations describing magnetostatic problems in non-homogeneous materials and for associated with them integral equations the Green's functions are impossible to find. To overcome these difficulties a new approach is proposed, which relates the Green's function for nonhomogeneous permeability to Green's function of the Laplace's equation in free space by adequate variable transformation. This allows to use for the nonhomogeneous case the same numerical methods as for homogeneous ones.
