Design and Analysis of Modified Elliptical patch in stacked arrangement for circularly polarized Broadband Performance

摘要
In this work dual-layer design of modified elliptical patches with slots is proposed to realize circular polarization and broadband performance. The assembly has two FR-4 substrates parted by a foam material devouring 2 mm thickness. The simulation is conceded by means of IE3D software. The feed location, dimensions of slots and wideness of air slit were augmented to realize preeminent performance. The impedance bandwidth of proposed antenna is 29.03% and axial ratio bandwidth of 233 MHz. The gain of proposed antenna is nearly 6 dBi and is almost constant in the desired frequency range. The radiation patterns within bandwidth are more or less alike in nature.
