Facial expression recognition in VGG network based on LBP feature extraction

摘要
LBP (Local binary mode) is a local spatial structure that describes an image. It has gray invariance and good robustness against background noise and visible light. In this paper, after image processing with LBP and VGG network, face facial expression recognition was studied. Experiments were carried out in CK+ data set, and the accuracy reached 96%. The experimental results show that this method is more advanced and effective than VGG network and traditional methods.
