LEARNING HOW TO PREPARE FOR STATE EXAMS FOR ACCESS TO THE JUDICIARY AND STATE PROSECUTION CAREER ON THE BACHELOR'S DEGREE COURSE OF THE EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY OF VALENCIA

The European University of Valencia has, as a teaching innovation, introduced into the methodology of the Law Degree, preparation for those students who, on finishing their studies and faced with such a competitive market, decide to opt for taking Civil Service examinations. The aim of this is to help students during their university studies to be prepared for Civil Service exams by teaching study and oral techniques. This was incorporated into the subject "Family and Inheritance Law" with 6 E.C.T.S, which was studied in the third year of the Law Degree at the European University of Valencia during the 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 academic year. A total of 25 students were introduced to several "study and oral expression technique" seminars aimed at the students acquiring mental agility and fluency in the learning of the syllabus. Finally a final oral knowledge test on the subject was conducted, so simulating a real Civil Service exercise so that the student could gain preparation and experience.
