摘要
The article is devoted to the choice of investment strategy for regions with regard to industries and activities, with consideration of the investment potential and current market conditions. The authors proposed a technique that helps to determine the regional sectors with the highest return on investment with the aim of creating the most favorable conditions for the regions. An analysis of the sectoral investment priorities was made for the regions of North-West Federal District of the Russian Federation on the basis of the proposed methodology. The study was conducted in more detail by the types of economic activity for the Leningrad region.
