Research on the Development and Countermeasures of NPO in China

Besides the government and the market, non-profit organizations (NPOs) play an essential role in the management of public affairs. In recent years, China's non-profit organizations has developed rapidly and provided the public with a lot of high-quality service. But there are still some problems, which constrain the long-term development of the non-profit organizations, such as its governmental tendency, weak capacity of management, unsound policies and laws, and ineffective supervision. Therefore, it is of great significance to take a deep research on these problems and analyze the reasons for the formation, which leading to the promotion of the socialization of public governance. Throughout the development of non-profit organization in China, this paper analyses the status quo of China's non-profit organizations as well as its problems. And some practical and workable suggestions related to China's non-profit organizations are proposed in this paper to resolve the existing problems.
