Spin-polarized MnK-edge XANES analysis of Mn oxides

摘要
Mn K-edge spin-polarized X-ray absorption near edge structure (SPXANES) spectra of MnO have been examined by use of a spin-dependent full multiple-scattering theory. Theoretical calculations for MnO show good agreement with the observed spectra on the basis of the paramagnetic model, whereas antiferromagnetic model should be taken into account to obtain better results even above Neel temperature (T-N).
