摘要
Data on the substantial, grain-size, mineralogical, and chemical composition of aerosols are considered. The samples of aerosols were collected in cruise 37 of R/V Akademik Mstislav Keldysh over the transatlantic cross section along 40 degrees-50 degrees N. The variability of concentrations and composition of the aerosols with distance from the continents is shown: contents of aerosols an reduced by a factor of ten and more. A significant portion of the mineral components of the aerosols collected over the continent is replaced by an essentially organic one due to the mechanical differentiation in the course of transportation. Such anthropogenic components as soot, ash, and combustion spheres were detected in all samples. North African dust was found in one sample over the western part of the cross section.
