Prevention of rockbursts in coal mines in China

摘要：
More than 2000 rock bursts have occurred in coal mines in China. There are presently over 33 coal mines hazarded by rock bursts. Extensive research has been carried out since 1980, including the long-term co-operation with Poland. A set of complex rock burst prevention system in coal mines has been established. This paper briefly summarises the results of research conducted at the Central Coal Mining Research Institute of China, introduces the complex prevention system, and presents the research project in the future.
