摘要：
The design and implementation of a pulsed current drive for a high power Laser Diode has been presented. The single-stage SMPS does not use any linear regulator, and is able to pump upto 50A in a 2V laser diode or in two laser diodes in series for a maximum of 4V output with an achievable rise and fall times of around 80 mu s. Various protections to safeguard costly and sensitive Laser Diode have been employed.
