摘要
The radiation pattern of a cylindrical tangentially polarized piezoelectric transducer with a passive internal rod made of a material with small acoustic resistance is analyzed. It is simulated in the framework of a model based on a hybrid method of finite and boundary elements. For certain rod dimensions, this structure, used as an underwater radiator, can form a beam directed along the rod axis.
