摘要
The environmental risks associated with the production of electricity from fossil fuels and nuclear power kindled this research, here the mass production and usage of electricity generated from solar energy has lately become quite prevalent. Solar array reconfiguration is being developed to provide for a steady power output under various load conditions while also compensating for the power demand. This assists with the efficient use of available renewable resources while also improving the stability of the power system network. A four- module PV array, a switch matrix, and charging batteries are the three components of this research.solar energy is identified to be the surplus source of energy and the electrical power can be extracted from it on two different ways. The first way is to make use of solar glass collectors or solar thermal method and the second is by using Photovoltaic arrays. The switch matrix, which was conceptually coupled to 9 SPST relays in the previous system, could reconfigure the array to any of four configurations: 4x1 (series), 2x2, or 1x4 (parallel). This statistic will be referred to as the `switch count' from here on. As a result, the proposed method for using SPDT relays to reconfigure the solar PV battery charger design was created. Its key contribution is a reduction in the number of switches from nine to eight. When configuring the array to 4x1, there is no requirement for a continuous control, which is a unique operational design benefit. As a result, in the event of a total control circuit failure, this unique feature allows it to constantly charge the battery with an array configured to 4x1. In addition, the reduced algorithm implementation necessitates the use of a controller. This study minimizes the conduction loss, investment cost, and size of the PV charger circuitry when compared to previous designs. Experiments have been carried out to verify the proposed design and control algorithm. Index Terms-Switch Matrix, Control Algorithm, Photo voltaic array, Series configuration, Parallel configuration.
