摘要
One of the most important issues in the environmental reconstruction of compromised contexts is the renewal of open spaces as an added value to the urban fabric, especially when the eco-systemic balance has been altered. The transformation of these contexts, which can be interpreted both as a system "discarded" by the crisis as well as a system that puts the territory that hosts them into "crisis", plays a significant role in the activation of integrated revitalisation processes. This is the case of the ASI zones: complex areas with a significant unexpressed or denied potential due to the impacts that productive activities have generated over times of use and non-use. Sharing the principles of an eco-innovative approach, the authors present a transformation model which aims to reconstruct the integration between industrial centres and the territories where they are located. The model was tested within the framework of an interdisciplinary research project.
