摘要
Thermally activated processes have intrinsicaly stochastic, exponentially distributed waiting times. A simulation algorithm based on this property is used here to model the effect of a recording head on an initially demagnetized, thermally relaxing particulate medium. Coherent rotation of magnetization and dipolar interactions are assumed and it is found that interactions enhance transition noise and the width of the transition region.
