摘要：

There are many researches and applications about the spatial index technology in geography information system (GIS) field at present. Algorithmic efficiency is a problem which has came to front and need to be resolved in application. In this paper, author analyzes the optimization means based on the spatial index algorithm and puts forward his optimization schemes from two aspects of algorithm and data storage configuration. This scheme was applied in Distributed Management Information System Based on GIS, and has got satisfied effects.
