Lighting effect in night flight visual scene

Lighting effect simulation is the primary work to simulate night flight visual scene. In general, two classes lights are simulated in night flight visual scene --- runway light and airport searchlight. This paper discusses how to generate realistic lighting effect based on analyzing all of two kinds of lights parameters. Fothermore, during to simulate airport searching light, it is a problem that how to smooth the lighting effect between joint polygons(especially between large polygons). Author presents a way to solve the problem and introduces it in detail.
