On the o-H2/p-H2-ratio in shocks

摘要
New C-shock model computations are presented in which the population of H-2 levels as well as the o-H-2/p-H-2-ratio (OPR) are in a stationary state. Previous models assumed a fixed OPR. and a level population that is in thermal equilibrium. Here it is shown that this is not appropriate for shocks of low speeds.
