摘要
In this letter, a broadband leaky-wave antenna with large scanning angle based on spoof surface plasmon polaritons (SSPPs) and graphene is designed, fabricated, and tested in the frequency range from 22 to 40GHz. The proposed antenna consists of coplanar waveguide (CPW), a pair of tapered transition structure and SSPPs, and these structures are made of graphene film with high conductivity, which exhibits many advantages such as lighter weight, lower cost, excellent flexibility and environmental friendliness. The simulated and measured results show that the antenna can achieve the beam scanning angle from 45 degree to -15 degree when the frequency variating from 24GHz to 40GHz. The overall beam scanning angle can reach 60 degrees, and the realized gain is 6.65 dBi-10.04 dBi, which can realize large beam-scanning angles and wide working frequency band.
