摘要
In the European Union the rules regarding the identification and registration of bovine animals and the labelling of beef and beef products are established since 1997. Since then beef is labelled in a voluntary way. From 1. September 2000 a compulsory beef labelling system will be in force in all Member States of the European Union. Then all operators are obligated to guaranty the tracebility and to inform the consumer about the production and the sale of beef.
