摘要
This survey consists in finding a possible and useful application, to the main by-product of the steel-making industry in Tunisia: the blast furnace slag. The weak hydraulic index of the present Tunisian blast furnace slag cannot permit an efficient utilization as addition to the cement. But its use directly in concretes, as aggregates by partial or total substitution to the flinty sands and the chalky gravels, would be interesting to several points of view: workability, resistance, durability, economy and ecology. The objective of this work is to develop in Tunisia a new concrete using blast furnace slag aggregates.
