摘要
About 65% of Russian territory is isolated (autonomous) power supply area. These regions are generally electrified from diesel power plants running on imported fuel. In these zones the number of diesel power plants (DPP) operating is about 900, and electricity generation is about 3.0 billion kWh per year. The energy production cost at these DPP is 0.25-2.0 Euro/kWh. This energy is more expensive than centralized. Therefore, reducing the consumption of long-distance fuel for the DPP operation is an important socioeconomic task. Wherein, the potential of wind and solar energy in the isolated energy supply zones is great. Creation of efficient renewables power plants will provide a high diesel fuel penetration rate. In the paper there are considered methodological, technological and logistical aspects of creating effective energy supply systems for autonomous territories using local renewable energy sources, primarily wind energy, by creating energy-efficient and cost-effective hybrid energy complexes in the form of modular-type wind-driven power plants.
