Study of the transfer factor in urban bus transit planning evaluation

摘要
In general, when evaluating an urban bus transit plan it is important to restrict the value of the transfer factor. After analyzing the demand for a lower transfer factor, this paper points out that it is not necessary to do this in some bus transit systems, such as the Curitiba bus transit model. The transfer factor index has some irrationality, and there are some corresponding indexes that can substitute for it. These indexes can describe the bus transit system better than the transfer factor index. To prove this situation, the Suzhou urban bus transit plan is given as an example.
