Relationship between Mn, Cr, Pb and Cd concentrations, granulometric composition and organic matter content in the marine sediments from a contaminated coastal area

摘要：

The trace metals concentration (Pb, Cd, Cr and Mn) and organic matter content were determined in total sediment and four grain size fractions (A > 300 mu m, B 54-300 mu m, C 20-54 mu m and D < 20 mu m). The linear regression method was applied for statistical analysis of obtained data. A high correlation between Pb and Cr concentrations, and organic matter content and the percentage fine size fractions was determined Cadmium and Mn are not related, either to organic matter nor to granulometric composition.
