摘要
This paper presents selected findings from an evaluation of an innovatory Postnatal Listening Service offered to Pakistani, Bengali and Chinese women in an inner city area in the North of England which ran from the summer of 2000 to the Spring of 2002. The service was managed by the local Advocacy and Interpreting Service (AIS) and provided by specially trained lay volunteers from the target women's own community. A full report is available from the authors (Hirst et al, 2002).
