Collision dynamics on the formation of the N2-N2 collision complexes

摘要
The collision dynamics and the most relevant properties of transient collision complexes formed in binary N-2-N-2 collisions have been investigated. The semiclassical method we have applied allows us to highlight the features of quasi-bound complexes, including the lifetime distribution and their role in promoting the vibrational energy exchanges in N-2(v(1))-N-2(v(2)) collisions. The role of the rotational and translational energy on the complexes formation has been analyzed. An approximate method is proposed to calculate the "cross sections" and rate constants of the collision complexes characterized by different lifetimes and stationary concentrations.
