Study on the reliability of inverter-fed induction motors' insulation system

摘要：
In a induction motors fed by a PWM voltages source inverter, the insulation system endures much higher stresses, so that its reliability will be affected. In this paper, the effect of the increased stresses is discussed. And then, based on the failure mode analysis, a reliability growth plan is suggested.
