Low electric field periodic poling of thick stoichiometric lithium niobate

摘要
Electric field periodic poling of 3mm thick stoichiometric lithium niobate is reported for the first time. The appropriate poling field strength was found to be as low as 200V/mm two orders of magnitude lower than in congruent material, and 20 times lower than in previously published results obtained with near-stoichiometric crystals.
